STANDARD FEATURES

An automatic machine designed to facilitate the correct mounting up of clichés of different sizes for flexographic printing. The structure consists of two heavy duty frames worked up on automatic machines and fixed to each other by means of various distancers adequately disposed, which secure an optimal firmness of the machine not disregarding a pleasant esthetical appearance. The printing cylinder bearings are heavy duty shaped steel parts sliding on a preloaded balls supported prismatic guider. The cylinder is kept holden by two pneumatic rollers and rotates on supporting ball bearings. To secure a safest supporting of the bearing parts on the printing cylinder a pneumatic roll is devoted which tightens both of them in most secure way. The cliché board is conceived to allow the operator mounting up easily even the biggest clichés, thus avoiding any positioning mistake. The board is made out of a pierced heavy duty glass plate guided by aluminium perfiles and micro settings of register.  It has been made in such material to not damage the clichés. The hoisting frame completely solded guarantees the up and down lifting of the cliché board without vibrations or errors. It is actioned by powerful pneumatic cylinders required by the presetted stroke to conform the different sizes of the printing cylinder. This frame is guided by ball sleeves preloaded, which slide on a high endurance hardened and grinded steel guider. On this unit are present 2 photocells, which, adequately positioned, protect the operator from eventual dangers anyway reduced to the lowest limit thanks to the protections not hampering the accessibility anyway. The nip roller is actioned by two pneumatical pistons and is fundamental for a good sticking up of both the adhesive and the cliché. In fact, a perfect adherence is guaranteed avoiding air bubbles and lack of precision. This roll is electrically driven by a c.c. (direct current) motor; motor assigned to the conveyance. The centring unit is composed by three precision telecameras actioned by two preloaded balls working snails driven independently by motors and absolute encoders. Moreover, the telecamera conveyors are assembled on preloaded balls working prismatical steel guiders. The mechanical and electrical precision secures the lack of play spaces and the perfect positioning repeatability in the time. Two telecameras are with 150 optical enlargements while the thirst one is 1:1. They show in real time on the two monitors the positioning and the centring of the crossings of the clichés to be mounted, the zero line of the printing cylinder and the table of the cylinder itself. The two 12” monitors produce a resolution over a 800 lines TV at the centre of the display. The operator panel is composed by a steel sheet on a fore position of the machine and a plate, two 12” monitors and a keyboard for input of the dates are assembled on it.

OPTIONALS
Sleeve system : This system is composed by a special structure designed to held up the shafts and the sleeve change over device, which have successively to be positioned as normal cylinders in the clichés mounter machine. Whit this system a perfect sticking of the clichés on the sleeves is also secured.
NOTE
The adhesive holder, the auxiliary lights, the protection covers are completing the equipment of the machine and make out of the T.M.C. a precision plant indispensable for the correct printing start.
